Ulla has over 30 years’ experience in the leadership of international ICT and telecommunications business from sales and marketing to R&D and regional business – and country management as well as corporate ventures. Prior to joining Avanto Ventures she held the position of managing director of Comptel India and Bangladesh until end of 2016. Before her India assignment, Ulla was a member of Executive Board of Comptel Oy and was heading the Analytics Business Unit.

Ulla is passionate about values, customer excellence, employee engagement, discovery of new ventures and adding value to the society. With these drivers she has been able to move across various cultures and functions in large companies, run her own corporate startups as well as help the other startup teams in go-to-market phase.

Today Ulla is focusing on building Avanto Ventures India business with the spearhead of advanced passenger mobility, which will be a massive transformation program in India and which requires comprehensive technology and business system approach to make it happen successfully.
