Meeri is passionate about finding the possibilities that artificial intelligence offers and dreams of a well-being Finland enabled by AI. Meeri is responsible of OP’s Artificial intelligence strategy and advancing possibilities of AI in the whole OP Group.
Her career started as a Data Scientist and she now has 18 years’ experience in utilizing data and AI in business from banking and financing industries to telecommunication and media. Meeri works as a leader of the Ethics team in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment’s Artificial Intelligence Program. She is an expert member in a team that is preparing a report about ethical information politics for the Parliament of Finland.
