Mazdak Nassir is an astro-preneur and an award winning film director from Helsinki, Finland. He has directed both short films and TV commercials and worked as a producer, actor and screenwriter on a number of TV-series and movies.

Mazdak came to Finland as a refugee from Iran with a dream of a better place. A place with no wars and no borders. Now he is making such a place a reality through his startup Space Nation. Founded in 2013 the company has established official partnerships with the leading players in the space industry, such as NASA and ISS (the International Space Station) and his company has now launched its first product offering astronaut training for free to anyone on Earth.
