Matti Aksela, Vice President, is the head of the Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence at F-Secure, where he leads AI research, implementation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Matti received his doctorate in machine learning from the Helsinki University of Technology. Prior to joining F-Secure, he held senior technical leadership roles at Comptel, Verto Analytics, and Xtract, building and delivering products and solutions that utilize big data, machine learning, and AI across a variety of industries.

At F-Secure, Matti continues to advance his belief that AI should be used to aid the work of experts—with man and machine working together to produce results greater than either alone. Of course, this requires development of more autonomous and intelligent AI agents while refining a collaborative model that employs and expands the capabilities of both experts and AI.
