Dr. Lasse Eriksson is responsible for the development of new services at Kalmar, part of Cargotec. In this role, he drives the development of new service business models and offers, digital services and digital tools supporting service delivery. Furthermore, Dr. Eriksson leads the Kalmar Digitalisation Leadership Team, responsible for the execution and implementation of the Kalmar digitalisation strategy.

Lasse Eriksson joined Kalmar in 2017 from Cargotec, where he was Vice President, Digitalisation since 2015. Before that, Dr. Eriksson has worked for Konecranes and Aalto University in Finland, in various research and development positions related to Industrial IoT and automation. Lasse Eriksson received the degrees of Master of Science (in Tech.) in 2003, Licentiate of Science (in Tech.) in 2007 and Doctor of Science (in Tech.) in 2008 from Helsinki University of Technology, in the field of automation and control.
