Aleksi Neuvonen is an experienced social entrepreneur, future thinker, and environmentalist. He is currently COO and board member at Treebuddy Earth. Aleksi is also the co-founder of Demos Helsinki, a think tank focusing especially on smarter use of natural resources and human capabilities. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Radboud University Nijmegen, School of management. 

Aleksi is also a national thought leader on several sustainability issues. He has engaged hundreds of people in voluntary work, hired dozens of people for growing organizations, and exercised leadership on boards of NGOs, companies, and foundations. Overall his goal is to empower companies, communities, and individuals to grasp their role and opportunities in building solutions to long-term challenges and wicked problems of humanity.
