If P&C Insurance Challenge Competition Winners Chosen

If P&C Insurance challenge competition day was held in beautiful Mathildedal on 17th of June. Earlier this year, based on the evaluation of ten experts from If and SHIFT, five companies aiming to solve work related mental health issues were selected to take up the challenge: Cauha Care, Meru Health, Emooter, Fifth Corner and LifeClass.

At Mathildedalen, the teams were mentored on various topics ranging from sales, product, funding, and business models. The day ended at a pitching of developed service solutions.

“The teams were extremely high level, all having existing clients and revenue. What we sought from the teams were scalability and ability and motivation to develop the solution further with If,” explains Elia Elenius, the Chief Development Officer of SHIFT.

Based on these criteria, two winners were selected: Fifth Corner and Meru Health. These two scalable, innovative and mutually complementing solutions were seen as the dynamic duo that could form the basis for new service line revolutionising work related mental health service offering.
