Olli Lappalainen is Sales Executive, Global at Compensate. The organization consists of Compensate Ltd, which runs the day-to-day business operations, and the non-profit Compensate Foundation, which focuses on advocacy work.

Compensate offers businesses and individuals easy access to the highest quality carbon projects globally. By combining both the nonprofit and the startup mindset, Compensate’s scalable business model ultimately serves people and the Earth.

Prior to joining Compensate, Olli has worked in start-ups and scale-ups in the field of technology and SaaS, for example at Supermetrics and Smartbear.

At SHIFT Olli will be participating in the energy transition panel to talk about how to find new ways for energy change and how to change our focus on innovative ways to navigate through the climate crisis.
