Kalle Saarimaa is Vice President of Business Area Recycling & Waste at Fortum. He has been heading Fortum’s Recycling and Waste business since March 2017. He is responsible for developing Fortum’s circular economy business that offers expert solutions and sustainable economy services for societies and industries.

Saarimaa has deep insight into the latest development of the circular economy and also a practical understanding of material recycling and waste treatment. He is a growth-focused executive who has strong experience in building strategies and implementing turnarounds. His passion is building and developing new solutions in order to achieve a cleaner world.
