Riikka Paarma is the Director for Circular Economy at Stora Enso, the renewable materials company. Contributing to the circular bioeconomy, Stora Enso develops and produces renewable solutions based on wood and biomass for a range of industries and applications in packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions and paper globally.

Prior to joining Stora Enso, Riikka was the Director for Sustainability Services at Deloitte Finland and the global co-lead for Circular Economy at Deloitte. She has also led sustainability at Alma Media Corporation. Riikka’s key focus is driving transformation towards a circular economy.

In addition to Finland, she has worked and studied in Sweden, Belgium and Denmark, and has a strong knowledge of sustainability and circular economy in the Nordics and beyond. Besides her professional interests, Riikka is also a PhD candidate at Aalto School of Business, focusing on circular transformation.
