You could call Anton Schubert a design industry veteran, for he has been working for more than 25 years with global customers in numerous design consultancies in Europe and the US. Anton’s experience covers multiple industry domains and projects with leading brands such as VW, Samsung, Prada, Lufthansa, Ford, Vodafone, Allianz, Nestle, and P&G.
Anton’s early passion from childhood was to be a model-maker and he studied design prototyping at St.Albans School of Art and Design in England. In more recent years, he has built and led successful design teams in Helsinki, Stockholm, and London with the companies 358, Futurice, WeareInc, Vincit, Scope Impact, and currently Gofore.
Anton has always been a strong believer in user-centered design as a methodology to create great and meaningful experiences, and deliver real positive impact for people and societies. This belief in the power of design has led him in the last few years to question the role and responsibility of the designer. Anton’s aim going forward with design is to evolve the way design and development teams think and work and to make sure they incorporate sustainability into their everyday toolbox.
